Gallery Café

In the narrow, enclosed space, the design is defined by a long programmatic wall and white finishes that evoke no saturation hierarchy or visual distinction. This free continuity of light throughout the surfaces and spaces creates integration between the inside and outside spaces.

In downtown Curitiba, this café is located inside an art gallery. The site, previously a storage area, was converted into a dining space to offer meals during the day, and to host art events in the evenings. The project is comprised of a kitchen, gift shop, and indoor and outdoor seating areas.
